Dear Meals on Wheels,
My aunt recently moved from her apartment to Gilmore Lodge. Prior to this transfer, my aunt was receiving meals on wheels.
I want to let you know that my aunt often commented to me that the meals were very good. As well, she told me that the people who delivered the meals were exceptionally friendly and helpful. She truly looked forward to her meals and the wonderful people who delivered them.
My aunt also mentioned that in moving to Gilmore Lodge, she is still receiving the great food that she enjoyed through meals on wheels. As you know, moving to a nursing home is a big change. I think the fact that my aunt continues to receive the same food that she was receiving at home goes a long way to easing this transition.
Please extend my thanks to everyone involved in providing such an important service to my aunt and all the many other seniors that you assist in making it possible to live independently in their homes for as long as possible.
